The theme for Confirmation 2024 is “This Little Light of Mine”. In preparation for our Confirmation on the 8th of June, Bishop Nulty asked that each class do something within the community to let our light shine.
Our 6th class pupils decided to host an afternoon tea event for retirees in the Daingean community, as it gave the pupils an opportunity to entertain and meet with the retired members of our community (and some visitors to our community).
We are very fortunate to live in a community where there is so much support and encouragement. This event highlights this community spirit.
It was an opportunity to showcase our beautiful school choir. The choir performed two inspirational songs.
This was followed with some music from 6th class pupils. They also played tunes on the tin whistle and sang songs.
