Our 6th class pupils had a great day out last Friday as they cycled a total of 13 km round trip to and from Ballycommon BakeHouse as part of Bike Week.
The children were then taken care of by the staff of the BakeHouse in the form of toasties and sweet treats. We would like to extend our thanks to them for hosting us l, with a special mention to the Grand Canal Wheelers, our local cycling club in Daingean for subsidising some of the treats for our children.
Thank you to Ms Ruttledge for accompanying our pupils and staff member Johnny Cuskelly, who lead us our on our trip. Johnny is an avid cyclist and a member of the Wheelers.
