A huge well done to the Daingean NS camogie team who contested the Cumann na mBunscol Shield Final against Mercy PS, Birr earlier today in O’Connor Park, Tullamore.
Unfortunately, the result didn’t go our way but we are so proud of the girls and the way that they performed. Thank you to all our passionate supporters who attended the match and whose enthusiasm really drove the girls on. Thank you also to Daingean GAA for their support and their sponsorship of buses to matches, both today and for the past number of years.
The girls have made immense progress over the past few months, especially considering that most of our team only just started playing for the first time. We are looking forward to building on this further next year.
