We were delighted that the victorious Daingean Intermediate Football team visited the school the day after their county final triumph against near neighbours St Brigid’s in O’Connor Park.
The pupils were super excited to welcome our local heroes and listened very attentively to captain Conan Curley and current staff member and star forward Shane Tierney who had some great advice for our boys and girls.
23 members of the panels are past pupils so it was a special occasion also for all staff members who taught these men, who were extremely happy to welcome them back to our school.
We wish them the very best of luck in the first round of the Leinster Championship against the eventual Louth Champions in 2 weeks time.
