As you all know Ms. Moynihan has retired as principal of Daingean N.S.
Ms. Moynihan began her teaching career 39 years ago. She came to Daingean 37 years ago and has always spoken highly of the children, parents and staff members she has encountered over her years. Ms. Moynihan became principal in 2009 and worked tirelessly to ensure that the pupils in our school had a variety of experiences throughout their eight years in Daingean N.S. The school building itself (both internal and external) is evidence of her vision and enthusiasm over the years.
We thank her for being an amazing example to us all – pupils and staff. Her dedication and hard work is truly inspiring. Ms. Moynihan has always been fair, consistent and empathetic throughout her career.
We wish her all the very best on her retirement and a well earned break. Retirement is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another one. Enjoy every minute of it Ms. Moynihan!
