On Wednesday January 28th we held a Grandparents and Special Persons Day at Daingean N.S. as part of Catholic Schools Week.

The pupils sang songs, played tunes on their tin whistles, decorated buns and cards with their visitors and show their Grandparents and Special Persons their written examples of why they were so special to them!

Thank you to all our guests. There was such a warm and happy feeling in the school and we were delighted to host you.

A special mention also to Joe, who played a beautiful traditional song on his banjo for first class.
