It’s been a very successful week for the girls and boys GAA teams at Daingean NS.
This afternoon our girls gaelic team had a fantastic one point win over a strong Durrow side in their final section A group game. This means they are now in a 3-way playoff to join Scoil Bhríde GNS, Clara in the final later this month.
This was followed by a hard fought win by our mixed hurling team over neighbours Ballinagar. Both teams will now progress to the semi finals in the Section F Hurling Competition.
Yesterday our boys won their second match of their section A competition and will now play Ballybryan in O’Connor Park in late May.
Well done to all the boys and girls involved and to Ms Daly, Mr Mullery and Mr Watkins who have volunteered many hours of their time to ensure our pupils have an opportunity to participate in these wonderful competitions.
